Brown & Company Design isn't exactly what you'd call a "traditional" design studio. Sure, our work space has the usual office stuff—computers, fax machines, printers and so on. But we also have disco balls, antique bicycles hanging from the ceiling, and lizards living in jukeboxes. Some people think it's a little strange. We think it's inspiring!

We're a 20 person strategic design studio located in Portsmouth, NH. Since we opened our doors in 1992, we've grown from a two person shop to an organization with clients of all shapes and sizes from coast to coast. From banner ads for AOL to to a local bakery shop's logo, our portfolio shows the diversity of work we specialize in creating.

Brown & Company operates using a team process that allows us to work very collaboratively with our clients. Our three groups—print design, publication and web development—are supported by strategic services that give us the flexibility and ability to create informed designs with unique visual impact. We want to create great work that our clients love—and we want to have fun while we do it.

Giving back to our community is also important to Brown & Company. From time donated to local non-profits to our annual Pro-Bono Partnership, we strive to inspire a culture that promotes philanthropy and a sense of responsibility towards the community we're a part of.

So while we may not be what you'd call "traditional", we think that's a good thing.
