New Hampshire Businesses for Social Responsibility's mission is to build and support a network of businesses committed to adopting socially responsible business practices, recognizing that people, principles, and profits are inseparably linked. NHBSR believes that businesses can do well while doing good, that social responsibility begins locally with each of us, and that businesses can be financially successful while bringing out the best in human spirit, enriching the community, and being respectful of the natural environment. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), is an organization dedicated to helping abused and neglected children find their way through the child welfare and juvenile court systems to find safe and permanent homes. The NH chapter of this nationwide organization was the recipient of our 2001 Pro Bono Partnership Program. Over the year, we've worked with them on identity materials, event planning, radio spots, posters and more. A Safe Place was established to help prevent and eliminate domestic violence. As a women founded and run organization, their mission is to provide support, shelter resources, and alternatives for victims of domestic violence, as well as to educate the public. As the recipient of our 2000 Pro Bono Partnership Program, we worked with ASP on their logo, identity materials, web site and much more. Ausbon Sargent Land Preservation Trust The Ausbon Sargent Land Preservation Trust preserves the rural landscape of the Kearsarge/Sunapee NH region through conservation easements -- protecting land by creating deeded restrictions limiting future development while offering some tax benefits to land donors. Brown & Company worked with the organization to create their web site. |
